the library new edition 2020

‘The Library, A World History’, my second collaboration with the academic James WP Campbell has just come out in a new edition. Slightly smaller with this striking red spine it contains libraries in Mexico that were not in the very first edition of, but were in later re-prints.

According to Thames & Hudson it’s: “the definitive worldwide architectural history of the library, with spectacular original photography by one of the finest architectural photographers at work today.” So I’m not going to argue with that.

If you are a fan of independent booksellers you can buy it from Bookshop or The Hive who also have the original larger version.
